About the Performer

Avani Gadre, a disciple of Guru Smt. Shama Bhate and a master’s graduate from Lalit Kala Kendra, SPPU, is a vibrant Kathak dancer and aspiring choreographer. A key member of the Nadroop troupe, she is known for exploring movement and abstraction. Today, she presents her work, A Murder Mystery through Shadow Play in Kathak, created for the Madame Menaka Choreography Movement in 2018.
