About the Performer

Mysore B Nagaraj is a Kathak dancer trained under renowned gurus Smt. Tapoti Sinha, Guru Dr. Maya Rao, and Guru Smt Chitra Venugopal. He has given several solo performances across India and internationally in countries like Singapore, Nepal, Scandinavia, North America, Middle East, and Europe. He has also worked with several choreographers and has over 20 home productions to his credit. He is the founder of Articulate Dance Studios, where he teaches Kathak and promotes classical dance forms. He has won many accolades for his contributions to the field of classical dance, including the Karnataka Kalashree Award 2020 and the Senior Fellowship by the Ministry of Culture.
