About the Performer

Dushasan Sahoo began his Gotipua dance journey at the age of 10 under the guidance of Guru Sri Lingaraj Barik. A dedicated dancer of the current generation, he is now pursuing Odissi under Guru Sri Bichitrananda Swain. He has performed at numerous prestigious national and international dance festivals, including Nidhsagandhi Dance Festival (Kerala), Yuva Prativa Dance Festival (Assam), Konark Dance Festival, International Dance Festival (Bhubaneswar), Odisha Parva, Royal Orchid (Bangalore), Men's Hockey World Cup, Yoga in Dance (Pune), Barsha Utsav (Jajpur), Dhauli Mahotsav, Mukteswar Dance Festival, Odisha Divas (New Delhi), and the USA Tour 2023 at NMACC (Mumbai).
