About the Performer

Sanjeev Kumar Jena is an energetic Odissi dancer who began his training at Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya under Nabakishore Mishra, Manoranjan Pradhan, and Pankaj Kumar Pradhan. He currently trains under Guru Bichitrananda Swain at Rudrakshya Foundation and is pursuing his post-graduation at Utkal University of Culture. He has performed at prestigious festivals, including the International Odissi Dance Festival, Khajuraho Festival, Mukteswar Dance Festival, and NMACC, Mumbai. His international tours include France, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, China, South Korea, and the USA (2023). He has received the Odissi Shree Award, Naveen Kala Kaar Award, and Sadhana Puraskar.
