About the Performer

Shreya Srikanth, a dedicated disciple of Kalaimamani Smt. Anitha Guha, began learning Bharatanatyam at the age of five, inspired by her cousin Smt. Smrithi Vishwanath. She continued her training even after moving to Muscat, studying under Mrs. Padmini Krishnamurthy before returning to her guru in 2019. Under Smt. Anitha Guha’s guidance, Shreya has performed widely, including her Arangetram on 6th January 2022 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore. She has achieved distinction in the Annamalai University Dance Exam, performed at Marundeeshwarar Temple, and represented Chennai at the 75th Independence Day Parade in 2022. Shreya has also featured in major productions like Sri Bala Tripurasundari, Agre Pashyami, Jaya Hari Vittala, and Padakavitha Pithamaha, continually advancing in Bharatanatyam with her guru’s support and guidance.
