About the Performer

Vidya Pradeep has dedicated over 20 years to Mohiniyattam under Guru Dr. Neena Prasad, specializing in the Sougandhikam Kalari style. With over 15 years of experience, she enhances the art form through performances, original choreographies, and teaching as a research assistant at the Sougandhika Center. Recognized with the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar in 2023, she directs Antara Creations and has taught at Sree Sankaracharya University and Bharatanjali Academy. Her notable performances include major festivals, and her choreographies, such as Oru Thai Nadam and Chithrangada, explore themes of ecological harmony and womanhood, blending tradition with innovation to impact the dance world.
