About the Performer
Sai Charan Eturi is a Kuchipudi dancer with over 20 years of experience and more than 500 performances across India. He holds a Master of Performing Arts (Kuchipudi) from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from SVNIT, Surat. A Doordarshan Grade 'B high' artist, he has trained under Gurus Taduri Renuka Garu and Pasumarthy Rama Linga Sastry Garu. His notable performances include roles in productions such as Alluri Seetha Ramaraju and Sri Krishna Satya. In addition to his dance expertise, he holds a certificate in Carnatic Vocal and has trained in Carnatic Violin and Folk Dance. His accolades include the Nritya Koumudi Award from Abhinaya Nritya Bharathi (2020), Prathibha Puraskar from the Education Department, Warangal (2011), and recognition as a finalist at the Balashree Award Camp in New Delhi (2010). He has also received multiple awards in national competitions and holds a Guinness World Record for the largest group performing Kuchipudi dance (2010). Sai has performed at various prestigious events, including the Kakatiya Festivals in Warangal and programs conducted by state government departments.
