About the Performer

Bhagyalakshmi earned her bachelor's degree and masters from Kerala Kalamandalam University. She received the first rank in Mohiniyattam from Kerala Kalamandalam. Also, she has received many awards like the Chinnammu Amma Memorial Award, the Kalamandalam Kshemavathi Endowment, the Kalamandalam Leelamma Endowment, etc. She also worked as a guest lecturer at the R.L.V College of Music and Fine Arts and Kerala Kalamandalam Deemed University. At present, she is running an institution named Darpana Kalakshetra Dance and Music Academy in Pathanamthitta.
