About the Performer

Nidhaga Karunad B.M is an articulate and consummate performer who has captivated the hearts and minds of audiences around the nation and indeed the world. Introduced to the art form YAKSHAGANA under GURU Sri Srinivasa Sastan of Karnataka Kala Darshini, Bangalore, Nidhaga transcended from performances of that theatrical art to the sublimely complex dance art of BHARATANATYAM. Thus began his tutelage under Karanataka kalashree Guru Smt Dr.Suparana Venkatesh at sai Art International, Bangalore. Within a relativety short span of five years Nidhag mastered the nuances of the dance form. He compled hisdebut performance, traditionally referred to as the Arangetram in 2014.
