About the Performer

Suneetha Ammula has been a disciple of Sri Nataraja Ramakrishna garu during her childhood. Hailing from Ramachandrapuram in East Godavari district, she has stayed in Hyderabad for almost seven years, only to learn Andhra Natyam with dedication. Her performances were not only limited to India, but in other countries like South Africa (organised by Indian council for cultural relations (ICCR)) and Mauritius. In 1988, she was honoured with a title, “NATYA MAYURI” during her three-day programme in Vijayawada. Presently she has relocated to Hyderabad from Malaysia and pursuing Andhra Natyam and performing.
