    This will be a 2-3 hour collage of all the 5 Indian classics dance styles of Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Odissi and Kathak, performing live on one stage. Be braced for a colourful and mesmerising evening for you and the family.

    Kuchipudi by Surendra Nadh Group, Hyderabad

    • Ganesha Stuti, Gajavadana Beduve
      Gajavadana Beduve is an invocatory piece in praise of Lord Ganesha. This is a composition of Sri Purandara Dasa , wonderfully choreographed in to kuchipudi By Padmabhushan Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam Master. Gajavadana is set to Hamsadwani ragam and adi thalam. Dance by Surendra Nath and Bijina.

    Bharatanatyam by Abhayakaram Krishnan Group, Pondicherry

    • Pushpanjali
      Pushpanjali means folded hands full of flowers. In Bharathanatiyam, it’s is the first dance performance. Pushpanjali is performed as a salutation to Lord Nataraja who is considered the proponent of Bharatanatyam. It is to eliminate all the vignas ( Obstacles ) and to seek blessings so that the whole dance program goes well. It is also to seek blessings from the guru, the nattuvanar, the Vadya Vrinda, and namaskara to all the audience. Ragam: Saraswathi, Thalam: Adi, Composer: Madhurai R.     Kathak by Nidhaga Karunad Group, Bangalore

    • Prabandh
      A Predominantyly Nrutta format in kathak punctuated with todas and parans, a composition writen by a Muslim poet having the pen name ramadas. Prabandha literally means one that is bound. The composition is bound by nrutta, syllables of table, and sahitya that describes various parts that contitute the grammar of Hindusthani music. Raga - Kedar, Tala - Teen Taal Dance by Nishant Arvindakshan, Karthik B Shetty, Vidisha Ravindranath, Kshamitha R Shastry.

    Odissi by Shwetha Krishna Group, Bangalore

    • Mangalacharan
      Mangalacharan is an invocatory item of Odissi in which the dancers enters with flowers and asks for the blessings of Lord Jagannath. Then follows bhumipranam or salutation to Mother Earth which in turn is followed by a shloka in praise of a diety. She finishes the dance with a Trikhandi pranam;to God, to Guru and to the audience. Today’s mangalacharan dedicated to lord Ganesh who is the Remover of all obstacles Dance Choreography-Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, Music composition: Pt.Bhubaneswar Mishra raag-megh and Kedra, Taal - chaturasra ektal. Dance by Smt.Shwetha Krishna and Soumya Rangaswamy.

      This is an invocatory piece in praise of Lord Ganesha. In this item the dancers involes the blessings of Lord Ganesh. This particular item set to Gambheeranata Raga and Ghanda Chapu thalam. Composed by Uttukkadu Venkata Subbayya. Dance by Bijina, Anjali C, K.Aswathi, K.Sangeetha.

    Krishnaleelalu by Bhargavi Pagadala, Hyderabad

    • Krishna Leela
      The term Raas leela roughly means Dance of Devine Love. The dance form tells the story of Krishna, Radha and the Gopis, and is considered as Krishna's favorite thing to do. When the dancers perform the Raas Leela, it symbolises the spiritual love for Lord Krishna. This particular item showing the story of Krishna from His Child hood to Raas Leela. This item is set to Ragamalika and Adi thalam.Choreographed by M. Surendra Nadh. Dance by Bhargavi Pagadala.

    Ardhanareeswara Stotram by Surendra Nath Group, Hyderabad

    • Ardhanareeswara Stotram
      Ardha nareeswara stotram is a great hymn composed by Adi Sankaracharya on the Ardhanareeswara from in which half the part of Lord Shiva is represented with the goddesses Parvathi. Also comparing the appearance and divine acts to God Shiva, Goddesses Parvahi presents within the same form. This item is set to Ragamalika and Adi thalam. Choreographed by M Surendra Nath. Dance by Surendra Nath, Bijina, Rajyalakshmi and B.S.S.N.Brunda.

      “Yada yada hi dharmasya glaanir bhavati Bharata Abhyuddhanam adharmasya, tadaatmaanam srujamyaham“ Lord Krishna addresses Arjuna – the pandava prince and says, “ whenever and wherever there is a decline in dharma ( righteousness ) and there is predominance of adharma, during such time I descend myself on to Earth to dharma.     Kathak by Nidhaga Karunad Group, Bangalore

    • Sri Rama Chandra Krupalu Bhajmanu
      Shri Ramachandra Kripalu” or “Shri Ram Stuti” is a prayer written by Goswami Tulsidas. It was written in the sixteenth century, in the Sanskrit language. The prayer glorifies Shri Rama and his characteristics. O mind! Revere the benign Shri Ramachandra, who removes ‘Bhava’ the worldly sorrow or pain, ‘Bhaya’ the fear, and ‘Daruna’ the scarcity or poverty. Who has fresh lotus eyes, lotus face and lotus hands, feet like lotus and like the rising sun. His beauty exceeds innumerable Kaamdevs (Cupids). He is like a newly formed beautiful blue cloud. The yellow robe on his body appears like delightful lightening. He is the consort of the daughter of Sri Janak (Sri Sita), the embodiment of sacredness.Composition of Saint Tulasidas Choreographed by Nidhaga karunad.     • Pallavi
      Pallavi means elaboration and is applicable not only to the dance but to the accompanying music which is set to a particular Raag. Pallavi is marked by elegant and lyrical movements, distinct and exceptionally intricate, interwoven rhythmic patterns of beauty emphasising on pure dance. Pallavis are charectarised by subtle nuance of technical precision and pure movement. Starting off with slow, graceful and fluid movement,the pallavi becomes fast as it progresses. Today's pallavi is based on Raag Saveri Taal ektal dance choreography Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, Music composition Pt.Bhubaneswar Mishra. Dance by Shwetha Krishna, Soumya Ranga Swamy.

    • Cholkettu
      Cholkettu, the beginning consisting of systematic syllables in tune with the raga and the pure dance patterns that are appropriate for the composition. Through this item the dancers are praising Lord Ganesh and Goddesses Saraswathi. This cholkettu is set in Ragamalika and Adi thalam. Dance by Bijina, Anjali C, K.Aswathi, K.Sangeetha.

    Kathak by Nidhaga Karunad Group, Bangalore

    • Tarana
      Tarana is a type of composition in Hindustani classical vocal music in which certain words and syllables (e.g. "odani", "todani", "tadeem" and "yalali") based on Persian and Arabic phonemes are rendered at a medium (madhya) or fast (drut) pace (laya). It was invented by Amir Khusro (1253-1325 CE), and is similar to the Qalbana form of Sufi poetry. Composition of pandit Ravishankar Tarana. Choreography by Nidhaga karunad.Dance by Nishant Arvindakshan, Karthik B Shetty, Vidisha Ravindranath, Kshamitha R Shastry.

    • Moksha
      The concluding item of a recital. Moksha means spiritual liberation. This dance represents a spiritual culmination for the dancer who soars into the realm of pure aesthetic delight. Movement and pose merge to create ever new patterns, ever new designs in space and time. The dance moves onto a crescendo that is thrilling to both, the eye and the ear. With the cosmic sound of the “Om”, the dance dissolves into nothingness. just like Moksha or the deliverance of the soul in real life.

    • Ashtalakshmi Stotram
      Ashtalakshmi stotram is a devotional stotram dedicated to Goddesses Lakshmi and her eight forms. The eight stanzas of this stotram describe and praise the eight divine forms of the Goddesses Lakshmi. This item is set in Ragamalika and Thalamalika. Dance by Bijina, Anjali C, K.Aswathi, K.Sangeetha.
